Girard's Business Model

Girard is a broker/dealer business which combines the activities and functions of a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) broker/dealer and a Securities and Exchange Commission registered investment adviser. Most recently, that business combination has been named the "hybrid model." As a "hybrid", Girard supports investment management programs by offering advisory services on a Girard Asset Managed Account platform (GAMA) and on separately managed accounts on multiple platforms. Girard also handles traditional retail securities and insurance products and services. Girard prides itself on its particular competency and experience in the fixed income and corporate finance areas.
